2025 In Words
2025 continued our trend of growth, seeing even higher driver numbers and the release of so many projects! Deep dives into all of our departments can be found below, we hope you enjoy reading them!

Management
2025 has been a year focused on strengthening our foundations and setting Prime up for the future. While much of the work has taken place behind the scenes, the focus throughout the year has been on improving how we operate, communicate, and support our community.
Across the year, Management held several planning sessions to review our direction, identify areas for improvement, and agree on key processes moving forward. A major priority has been refining internal communication and collaboration between departments, trialling new approaches and building better ways of working together. We also reviewed our backlog and priorities to ensure our time is being spent where it has the greatest impact.
Operationally, the team worked through a high volume of tickets, introduced improvements to our ticket handling process, and continued the ongoing compliance, maintenance, and day-to-day upkeep that keeps everything running smoothly. We also introduced new roles, including a Convoy Control Assistant, and added a Retired Staff role to recognise those who have contributed to Prime over the years.
There were also a few organisational changes during the year, including a leadership transition within the technical side of the team, alongside continued work to unify requirements and processes across our platforms.
2025 wasn’t all serious, though - from our April Fools fun to celebrating Prime’s 7-year anniversary, it’s been a year that reminded us how strong and supportive our community is.
Overall, this year has been about stability, improvement, and preparation. With stronger processes, clearer direction, and some exciting opportunities already in motion for early 2026, we’re looking forward to building on this progress in the year ahead.

Human Resources
The Human Resources team had another busy year. With the merger of the Recruitment Team and the Human Resources Team at the end of 2024, they took on extra responsibilities. Total tasks for 2025: 12,648
Below can be found the statistics on the recruitment side for 2025.

Event Team
The Event Team had a successful 2025. We hosted 87 convoys, working out to around 1 every 4 days! In total, we attended and hosted a total of 455 events, working out to around 5 events every 4 days.
We had 25 days without a convoy. In 2024, we had 46, in 2023, we had 31, and in 2022, we had 26, so this is the lowest we’ve seen in recent years! This all comes down to the hard work of our Event Team and Convoy Control Team, so a big thank you goes out to them.
We received a record number of invitations this year, up around 34% compared to last year! We accepted around a third of all those received.

Development
2025 has been a significant year for the Development Team, focused on modernising our systems, improving reliability, and laying the groundwork for the future.
One of the major milestones this year was the release of Prime Bot v7, a complete rewrite that brought the bot up to modern standards. This upgrade improved performance, resolved long-standing issues, and made key features like support tickets more responsive, helping day-to-day operations run more smoothly across the community.
Throughout the year, we also delivered a range of updates to the Drivers Hub, including new profile customisation features, quality-of-life improvements, caching fixes, and several enhancements to support internal teams. We worked closely with departments such as HR and Media to deliver tools they had been waiting for, including automation for activity warnings and improvements to internal systems - all aimed at reducing manual workload and improving efficiency.
As the year progressed, a clear priority emerged. While early 2025 included a mix of feature work and operational improvements, the core development focus gradually shifted toward Drivers Hub v2 as we recognised the importance of investing in the platform’s long-term future. Since then, the majority of development effort has been dedicated to this project, with the core infrastructure now successfully migrated and existing systems being moved across. Although much of this work isn’t immediately visible, it represents a major step toward a faster, more reliable, and easier-to-maintain platform.
Alongside this, early work began on the next version of TrackSim, with a focus on improving data reliability ahead of a planned 2026 release. Development capacity was slightly reduced toward the end of the year due to leave and the Christmas period, but steady progress has continued behind the scenes.
And of course, alongside the serious work, there was still room for some fun - including April Fools features and a few light-hearted surprises across the hub.
Overall, 2025 has been a year of strengthening the core. With the team now fully focused on v2 and the foundations firmly in place, we’re excited to carry this momentum into 2026 and share the results of the work that’s been happening behind the scenes.

Public Relations Team
2025 was a mixed bag for the Public Relations Team. We’ve seen continued decline since the multiplayer community peaked over the COVID period in post interaction and follower gain. However, on the positive side, we are still growing on our platforms, and receiving a substantial amount of post interaction, which all comes down to the continued efforts of the Public Relations Team. We continue to receive the most interaction out of any VTC in the community, alongside the highest presence!
We put out a total of 461 posts this year, working out to a post every ~2.4 days. We received 47 applications to our Verified Streamer Programme, of which 17 were accepted. We continue to receive a mix of YouTube and Twitch streamers joining the programme. If you want to join, check out the #request-streamer channel on our Discord Server !
Looking towards 2026, we will look back into our Twitch channel and figure out the feasibility of rolling out a “Stream Team” following on from the trials we held back in August.
We hope you look forward to hearing about all the exciting things happening in the VTC throughout 2026!

Examination Team
2025 saw the reintroduction of the Examination Team to our Newsletters! We hope you’ve enjoyed finding out how the team has performed throughout this year, and finding out about all their projects.
We saw the release of 3 new routes this year: - Ruse, Bulgaria to Pirdop, Bulgaria - Leon, Spain to A Coruna, Spain - Cagliari, Italy to Olbia, Italy
862 exams were completed this year, alongside 180 missed exams. 632 were passed, resulting in a 73.3% pass rate!
We hope you’ve enjoyed taking on these new routes, and look forward to further updates to our exams in 2026!

Media Team
On the Photography side, we attended 26 convoys, and took 277 photos! Alongside this, 5 videos were created summarising some of our events. You can find all the fantastic photos taken by the team in the #prime-media channel on our Discord Server !
On the Assets side, the team released 5 seasonal skins, with at least 1 project each quarter, and Q2 2025 being the most successful quarter with all planned projects getting published. Unfortunately, we had staff shortages throughout the year, leaving us with several unfinished projects.
Looking to 2026, we will stabilise the Assets side of Media, and look to catch up on some projects which have been left behind. We look forward to sharing what we have planned throughout 2026!
