Department Updates

Prime is running so smoothly due to all the work every department does, that's why we'll be giving an update from some of the departments.

Divider

Management

In this quarter we were mostly busy dealing with suggestions, and with some things that will be coming up in the next quarter, so stay tuned for that!

Divider

Driver Updates

In Q1 2023, we received 328 applications, of which 193 were accepted. Our overall acceptance rate declined, meaning a higher proportion of applications were being declined to join the VTC. We also saw approximately 20% less applications compared to Q4 2022. This will be monitored due to the substantial decrease.

Our driver count decreased from 846 in January, to 739 in March. This is as a result of our activity checks being carried out, and drivers wishing to leave the VTC. We will monitor this count to see whether our driver count once again changes substantially.

Examinations Team

Unfortunately, from now on, we are unable to provide statistics for the Examination Team, due to technical limitations. We hope to see these statistics return in the future.

Events Team

Within the Events Team, Q1 was a success. We hosted our New Year’s Event at the start of January, which saw ~175 attendees!

However, we had 7 days without an event, which when compared to the prior quarter, is slightly lower, but this is as a result of a convoy break around the Christmas period.

Prime’s average attendance at convoys can be seen to fluctuate throughout Q1. On average, 24 drivers attended events hosted by ourselves, and 11 drivers attended public events.

At Prime Convoys, we see decreased attendance at both ATS and ProMods convoys. This is as a result of the heavy DLC requirements for ProMods, and the lower interest in ATS compared to ETS2.

Around 28% of invitations to events received were accepted.

Development Team

The Development Team was working very hard on their own tracker (Tracksim) as Navio is ending their services. This tracker was successfully tested and was launched on the 1st of April.

Next to that the Development Team is mostly focusing on a future, improved version of the Drivers Hub with some new coding which will make the Drivers Hub even more smoother and will allow us to add more functions in the future.

Public Relations Team

As was mentioned in our previous Newsletter, our Newsletters are now made quarterly! Hopefully this will mean some of our departments have more to mention about changes/developments made within the prior 3 months!

In the Public Relations Team, in the last 3 months, we saw increasing follower counts across all our social media pages. This is a clear sign that our community is still growing!

However, we can clearly see a decline in the number of posts and likes received on all 3 social media platforms. This is as a result of us having our 4 year anniversary event in Q4 2022, resulting in us receiving more likes than usual. However, our likes decreased proportionally with the number of posts we made, so we are still receiving similar likes per post, which is good to see.

We posted 2 more TruckersMP News posts in Q1 2023 (15 posts) compared to Q4 2022 (13 posts)!
