Meet the Team - Examination Team
We’re back with another edition of Meet the Team! In this section, we’ll dive into another 1 of our teams in the VTC, providing further insights into our operations and the various members of our Staff Team!
This quarter, we’re diving into the Examination Team! We asked Terry, known as Player_63, about his role in the team. You can find his responses below.
To start, could you introduce yourself?
My name is Player_63, or Terry, and I’m from England. I joined Prime Logistics in September 2023, and a year later, I became part of the Examination Team. My first experiences with online gaming and its community go way back to when I started playing Unreal Tournament and joined the UTAssault League. That’s where I met my wife—who, as she often reminds me, was better than me at the game, having shot me in the back countless times!
Since discovering ETS2, TMP, and then Prime, I feel like I’ve rekindled the spark I had all those years ago, and I’m loving every minute of it.
Could you give an overview of your responsibilities in the Examination Team?
Each day, I check the list of requested exams and accept those I am able to conduct. I then create a private 1-on-1 channel with the driver to confirm all details are correct before the scheduled exam.
On the exam day, I ensure that the correct trailer and cargo have been selected before following the driver along the designated route. Throughout the assessment, I evaluate key aspects such as control, speed awareness, sign awareness, and overall driving standards.
What’s the workload like? How many examinations do you take on average per week?
The workload is moderate at this time of year. Due to work commitments, I typically conduct between one and three examinations per week.
What’s 1 key area drivers usually score points in during an examination, and how can they make sure they don’t make the same mistake?
Speeding is the most common area where drivers pick up points during an examination. My best advice is to do a test run of your chosen route beforehand, identifying areas where the speed limit drops. Many of the points I issue for speeding occur when a driver books a heavy cargo exam but fails to account for the additional weight of the trailer.
What’s your favourite part of your role?
Helping new drivers with their first exam is my favorite part of the role. It can be a nerve-wracking experience, especially when they’re unsure of what to expect, so I do my best to guide them through the process and put them at ease.
In your opinion, what’s the hardest route for drivers to take and why?
Route #4: Pitești, RO to Iași, RO is a particularly challenging route due to its sharp bends and frequent speed changes, which require precise control and awareness from drivers.
We hope you enjoyed reading these insights into the operations of the Examination Team!
Staff Of The Month
Below can be found those who were awarded Staff of The Month in January, February and March!
January - Ben
Ben joined us back in November 2023, becoming a member of the Convoy Control Team and attending almost EVERY convoy! In October 2024, they joined the Event Team, and have been a huge help with invitations, alongside their assigned tasks. Congratulations!
February - Hirurex
Hirurex joined the Human Resources Team in July 2024, working tirelessly dealing with all sorts of driver-related issues, requests, questions and concerns! They are the main point of contact for our drivers by keeping their activity up in our public guild, alongside ensuring they are always completing the workload they have been assigned. Thank you and congratulations!
March - Colin
Colin joined the VTC all the way back in April 2020, over 5 years ago at the time of publishing! They joined our Development Team briefly, before moving on to the Convoy Control Team in July 2022. A year on, they transitioned to our Event Team for around a year and a half! While in the Event Team, they handled invitations, saves, supervised our convoys, and planned our convoys! In October 2024, Colin moved back to the Convoy Control Team where they have remained since. Colin has been an amazing asset to our team and we appreciate their long term dedication. Congratulations!

Department Updates
With an extensive staff team, Prime’s operations run smoothly. We’ll give you further updates from some of our departments below!
Management
The first quarter of the year has been fast and busy, busier than the holidays! Getting a jump on our daily operations, we also had a management meeting to discuss issues within the Management team that we all had to overcome. We also went through our suggestions, which took us a while as we haven’t had a meeting in quite some time. Moving on, in our Staff Team, we had to deal with conflicts, which is usual; however, more than we wanted to deal with at the beginning of the year. Moving forward, we dealt with a high volume of tickets after the holidays and over the recent months in the quarter. We’ve ended up clearing a good chunk of tickets as best as we could.
TruckersMP released a feature that we had to deal with. It was unfortunate that it broke and removed half of our drivers, but it was shortly fixed by re-adding everyone to their VTCS. This also allowed us to deal with permissions that we had given to other roles, so that the user who was in multiple roles could have the necessary permissions they needed. We made good use of the feature and now everyone in our Staff Team that are in multiple roles have everything they need to get by on our TruckersMP VTC page. While we are on the topic of roles, we added a new Retired Staff Member role to honour our staff members who are still a driver for us. We appreciate them and without their contributions in the past, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Last but not least, on April 1st, we introduced a $PRIME coin for our drivers! However, we were saddened to disband Prime Coin and listen to our staff members with their demands on April 2nd… It was something we wished we could have stopped, however, there was too much backlash from our team and drivers about the unfairness we were giving our team by not giving them the Prime coin when they deserved it and other issues.
It was a fun quarter, and we can’t wait for Q2!
Driver Updates
In Q1 2025, our driver count continued to increase, from 948 to a massive 1052! This is an amazing increase, considering we have not had any major events during this quarter, and continues the trend we saw last quarter!
On the Recruitment side, we received 368 applications, of which 241 were accepted. This is a slight increase in the number of applications compared to last quarter, but a decrease in the acceptance rate by 6.5%.
Event Team
We started off the year by hosting our annual New Year’s Convoy which was a success! We saw nearly 200 people attending this event. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped out organising this event!
Moving on, average Prime attendance remained fairly similar to that of Q4, with a slight decrease in attendance at public convoys.
Event invitations only increased by 1 this quarter to 197, signifying a change compared to the trend we saw all the way throughout 2024 of ever increasing event invitations (~25% increase overall). We accepted slightly more invitations this quarter.
We had only 8 days without an event this quarter, a decrease from 12 last quarter.
Development Team
It’s been somewhat busy this quarter. We worked on our upcoming download page rework for our Directors in the Media Team to use as they’ve been waiting a while for this feature. In the quarter, we also worked on the HR-Recruitment Team merge systems. In our VTC we let drivers request a Verified Streamer role to get recognized when they are live by the community. The YouTube “live now” embed wasn’t working when someone would go live on YouTube, however, we finally fixed that in this quarter.
Moving on with more HR systems; we created a new system for our HR team to deal with activity warnings. This means they do not send DMs anymore, it is our bot by a push of a button to notify our drivers of their activity. This not only helps the process go by faster, but also our team to not get blocked by Discord when DM’ing too many people. While speaking about HR, they also fixed the rejoin guidelines. This means, the rejoin date (depends on a case-by-case basis) will be 30 days instead of having the 30, 60, 90 and 120 days system. This lets people rejoin after a short amount of time if they felt that it was a mistake or have been in the VTC for a while and have to wait a long time before rejoining. We all need time away.
Last but not least, we fixed some point caching issues that needed to be solved along with doing some April Fools stuff on the Drivers Hub that made people confused and laugh on April 1st. It was then removed on April 2nd, but was fun while it lasted!
Q2 is right around the corner and we can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Public Relations Team
As expected, Q1 was a lot slower than Q4 for the team. During Q4, we have major pushes for our anniversary, and as a result we see much lower interaction in Q1, as seen below. However, we still see increases in follower counts across the board.
Instagram has kept slightly increasing, rather than the decrease we saw in Q2 2024, so it seems this was just a one-off.
While we’re here, a quick reminder to sign-up to our Newsletter on our website! You will receive the latest news straight to your inbox regarding the VTC. We have had a few hiccups with getting this system sorted, but we’re finally ready to send out regular emails to you!
Media Team
In Q1, the Photography division attended 7 convoys, producing a total of 111 photos! This is around 15 photos per event.
On the Assets side, we saw a variety of projects released. At the start of the year, we released the New Year Skin. Unfortunately, the planned Lunar New Year skin was cancelled due to staffing issues. We closed off the quarter with the release of the Valentine’s Day skin.
Due to low staffing levels in the Assets division at the time, we had to withdraw or delay some projects until we managed to get our numbers back up. Therefore, for this reason, Q1 was quite quiet.
Q2 is projected to pick up in terms of activity with us bringing in new staff to the team! This should prevent any future projects getting missed. We’re also aiming to improve internal processes to streamline future projects. Stay tuned for what we have to come!
Examination Team
We’re excited to announce that the Examination Team is making a return to the Newsletter after being on hiatus for a long period of time. Our systems are now in place to be able to provide you with statistics related to the examinations conducted, and we can’t wait for you to find out more about the team!
In Q1, a total of 268 exams were conducted, of which 197 passed. This is 8 less than last quarter, so fairly similar. However, we saw a large increase in the number of failed examinations even though less were conducted overall, jumping by around 36.5%. 66 examinations were missed this quarter, accounting for around 20% of all requested examinations. Please make sure you are available for the time requested!
We have multiple new routes in the works at the moment, stay tuned for further information on what these might be!
And psst… if you want an early hint, why not become a Prime Plus member? 🤫

VTC Statistics
It’s time to take a look at how the VTC performed overall this quarter, compared to last quarter!
Total Distance Driven
Our statistics just keep getting better… last quarter, we saw a 14% increase in distance driven. This quarter, we saw a FURTHER 11.6% INCREASE! Our drivers drove 21,887,420km, which marks the first time in our VTC’s history where our drivers have drove more than 20 million km in a single quarter! Amazing work from every single one of our drivers.
Total Jobs
The total number of jobs did decrease this quarter to 32,759 jobs. This is likely as a result of there being less official SCS events held, so less “shorter” jobs. This does mean that the average distance per job has gone back to usual levels.
Total Points Earned
Once again, we saw a MASSIVE 10.2% INCREASE in points earned by our drivers, totalling 24,279,949! Amazing work from everyone!
Total Drivers Attending Events
We had 249 different drivers attending events this quarter, a slight decrease of 5.7%.
Total New Drivers
We welcomed 261 new people into the VTC this quarter, representing a small 2.2% decrease compared to last quarter.
Thank you to all of our drivers for sticking with us and allowing us to continue to grow, as seen by these amazing statistics!
