Department Updates

With an extensive staff team, Prime’s operations run smoothly. We’ll give you further updates from some of our departments below!

Management

We've had a relatively quiet middle of the year with a lot of internal optimisations being focused on! We held a Management meeting to identify improvements within our community, adding some insightful areas of improvement on our to-do board which we hope to implement throughout this year.

We have worked on quite a few internal changes to improve communication, trialing different ways of cross department discussion, some that worked, some not so much but it has been a great learning experience which we believe has been positive. As usual, we have been ensuring all the cogs keep moving seamlessly with any issues addressed.

At the start of Q2, we held our annual infamous April Fools jokes, where we faked a Prime cryptocurrency which would take Prime to the moon! We had over 200 users join in on the joke by 'redeeming' their coin, and staff members were all under performance reviews, poking fun at a certain CEO's eXtreme antics!

During Q2, we worked on some minor things such as unifying our requirements across different platforms and looking into plans to reboot our Twitch streams! We also addressed the internal change of Nathan stepping down from the CTO role and the responsibilities being assigned to Matt.

That's all we've got for this quarter, we'll see you all in Q3!

Driver Updates

In Q2, our driver count dropped from 1052 to 960. During this period, our Human Resources Team conducted activity checks which resulted in the removal of many of our drivers. This figure should hopefully stabilise now that these checks have been completed, and we should see a figure closer to what we saw last quarter in Q3.

On the recruitment side, we received 349 applications, of which 65.04% were accepted. This is a slight decrease in the number of applications compared to last quarter, but overall similar to Q4 2024 and Q1 2025.

Event Team

Q2 saw us attending/hosting a total of 124 convoys, an increase from 115 last quarter! We only had 1 day without an event this quarter, which is a large decrease from 8 days last quarter, meaning our drivers always had an event to attend!

Average Prime attendance has remained similar at 12 drivers. Average attendance at Prime-hosted private events has decreased slightly due to us hosting events at times which may not be convenient for the majority of players, as we try to cater for those who are in very different time zones.

Average overall attendance at our public Prime events has decreased slightly.

We received a lot more invitations this quarter, totalling 264, an increase from 197 last quarter.

Development Team

It has been a huge Q2 for us as we released our major release of Prime Bot v7. This marks a complete, much needed, rewrite of the bot, completed by Codeize. It has been the biggest project we have been working on behind the scenes since Q3 last year so we were glad to get it live. It has implemented some new features and many bug fixes, such as good morning GIFs being fixed, support tickets being more responsive and generally bringing us up to date with the current generation of technology for Discord bots. Big thank you and shout out to Codeize for spearheading this project.

Our featured update this quarter was the introduction of a new profile banner image on the hub, released to Prime Plus supporters. This banner was a complete rework of the existing profile images to make it more modern. We worked with the Media Team to get this working, and after plenty of back-and-forth tweaking, we got it into a pretty good looking place which you can see here. We will be releasing this to all drivers soon!

We added some small quality of life changes to the Drivers Hub, such as GIFs guiding users through making their TruckersMP/Steam profile details public. We also had our fun with April Fools yet again, focusing on the exciting PRIME coin announced by Management!!

That's about it for these 3 months, we are working on something huge to improve development in the next 3-6 months which we will share next time, stay tuned 👀

Public Relations Team

This quarter was fairly standard for the Public Relations Team. Our Instagram follow count remained stable, only increasing by 1. Likes on Instagram and Facebook are noticeably down compared to last quarter, and prior Q2’s. However, we still see a lot more green across the board compared to Q1 2025.

Media Team

We are continuing to update and fix any bugs within our mods and projects. We are also working on our seasonal projects to ensure they come out on time. Due to staffing numbers, we have had to delay some of our projects while we work on our higher priority ones.

However, we're happy to announce that we'll be trying a new skin format next year and are looking forward to sharing more as we get closer to their releases! For now, we will leave you with some hints as to what “open seasons” is: 🌨️🌞 🍂
